Book review

In the elections Cadets showed frantic activity. They used everything - and deception, and forgery and bribery. Ordinary people and peasants they said that behind King and want to help him improve the lives of people in the noble and official circles claimed that favor a strong state power and the order against the revolutionary attacks. And all deceived. Shortly before the opening of the Duma held a congress of the Cadet Party. He said quite openly about the prospects of Russian national, and when a telegram about the attempt on Admiral Dubasov, part of the congress applauded was obtained. This was the two-faced policy of the Cadets, which allowed them to win the election, securing a place of 153 deputies. After the Cadets were Trudoviks Socialists, received 107 seats, followed by the nationalists of all stripes - 63 seats. Octobrists got 13 seats. The Socialist-Revolutionaries and the Bolsheviks in the elections were afraid to participate. Cases of these terrorist parties were still fresh in people's memory.
